A local pizza joint built on professional craft and community next to the Snake River.
About Soul Fly Pizza
Soul Fly Pizza is the work of Josh and Jen Swain — a local couple who wanted to bring something fresh, real, and family-friendly to St. Anthony. Set along the Snake River, Soul Fly combines two things Idaho does best: good food and life on the water.
It’s not a chain, not a gimmick — just hand-crafted pizza made by people who live here, care about quality, and believe food tastes better when it’s connected to place.
” We make great pizza using the highest quality ingredients and with love, just like my Grandmother taught me. “

- Hand-stretched dough, mixed daily and baked to a crisp, airy crust.
- Simple ingredients, prepared fresh and used for flavor, not flash.
- Professional technique, from a chef who knows consistency matters more than hype.
Every pie starts in our kitchen on the Snake River and ends up wherever people are hungry — on-site, at home, or out on the water.
Our ordering system runs through Clover, which means you can order online for pickup or delivery without any third-party nonsense. It’s local, direct, and reliable.

Our Journey: Fire, Resilience, & Fresh Beginnings
How a lifetime of restaurant experience, a leap of faith, and a shared soul brought SoulFly Pizza to life.
Our history starts over 30 years ago, when Josh worked in his family’s restaurant…
How it all started
Roots In The Kitchen
Food and hospitality have always been in Josh’s blood. Trained by his father in the family business until he was 26, Josh cut his teeth in the world of high-end steakhouses and classic American comfort food. The entrepreneurial spark caught early, leading him to found Stockman’s Restaurant in Rigby, Idaho.
Later, he brought a childhood dream to life by designing and launching Abracadabras, a breakfast-with-a-twist concept that quickly expanded to three locations. Alongside his brother, Jonathan, he also opened a successful steakhouse in Vernal, Utah. Josh knew how to build restaurants, but life was about to throw a curveball that changed everything.
The Turning Point
Praesent ac nulla facilisis, tincidunt ex eget, porta odio. Integer convallis cursus lacus, et cursus sapieIn the midst of a thriving career, Josh faced a severe, year-long medical battle that left him completely bedridden following a severe vaccine reaction. As life sometimes happens when health fails, the world he built began to fracture. By 2024, a painful divorce meant walking away from his fine dining concepts and all of his beloved Abracadabras locations.
But true entrepreneurs—and soulful cooks—don’t stay down. Josh focused on his health, embraced a committed path of sobriety, and prepared for a clean slate. In 2025, he sold his remaining shares in the Utah steakhouse, ready for whatever the universe had in store next.n. Cras fringilla diam nisl, ut euismod ex faucibus quis. Suspendisse eu orci turpis
Love At First SoulFly
That next chapter had a name: Jen.
While Josh was in the middle of transitioning out of his old concepts, he and Jen met on Facebook Dating. It was quite literally love at first sight—and first soul. Though Jen grew up in Colorado and Josh met her in Utah, they discovered an uncanny connection: Josh had actually been born in Denver and lived there until he was 10.
Right after their marriage in July of 2025, the duo set out on a brand new culinary adventure. Jen proved to be an amazing partner with a knack for creative concepts that perfectly mirrored Josh’s. While she didn’t have formal industry training, she had spent her college years working in pizza shops, and more importantly, she carried the legacy of her grandmother—a wonderful, old-world cook.
Today, those exact old-world dough principles passed down from Jen’s grandmother form the literal foundation of SoulFly Pizza.
We invite you to step into our restaurant, share in our story, and taste the resilience, love, and family tradition baked into every crust.
